They simply say "I have an extra $XX per month". Factor in the devalued dollar and the interest on US debt, then you really lose far more than you gain. Too bad neo-cons can't see past the smoke and mirrors.

Is there something I am missing here?

WHAT SMOKE AND MIRRORS???? do you know anything at all about economics???? LMFAO...
there certainly is something you are missing along with the other liberal extremists. when you give a taxpayer back more of what they legitimately earn...THEY SPEND IT...it creates jobs and additional consumer spending which creates more ...the liberals favorite words...TAXES.PAID TO THE GOVERNMENT.
you see tax cuts have economic stimiulus built into them by their very nature and more consumer spending elminates the national debt by having more taxes paid in.
the problem most liberal extremists have is tax cuts dont mesh with the tax and spend and failed welfare scheme mentality we all have to deal with from the liberals. they dont just say they have an extra $$$ my liberal extremist chat guy...THEY USE IT.

there is nothing wrong, immoral, or illegal about letting americans control their own destiny. until 1914 ths country got along fine with NO TAX....but where would we be without the extremists.

liberals , gotta love em(sic)
smoke and mirrors....lmfao..thats a good one.

Economics 101:
I keep more of my money - I spend it and some one else earns more and, guess what, they expand, hire more workers and every one, including the employer, is paying taxes!
The government takes my money and, again, guess what - they don't pay taxes - they spend them.
Pretty simple, eh?

There's tax cuts, and there's spending cuts. If you don't get both, your government's still being irresponsible with your money, just in a different way.

Yes there is something your missing. If it bothers you that the government does not have enough money to solve all of our problems, give them more of yours.

you are missing the fact that there is NO such thing as a neocon, for one! You're a member of the party of spenders, for two!
