After breakfast my 11 week (12 weeks tomorrow!) boy plays on his playmat until he's ready to have his next nap which usually isn't more than half an hour. (In fact some mornings he doesn't even want to eat until after he has spent some time on his playmat, doesn't want to be cuddled or fussed over, just wants his playmat LOL, it's hell the odd morning we have to go out right away and he doesn't get his playmat time, he's cranky all day. It's amazing how at this young age he can be so attached to something and the routine ) After that nap we usually go for a walk, do some shopping, visit Poppa, go to Tim Horton's (small town, it's nice). Then after lunch he naps and when he does wake we have play time where we practice touching our feet to our face, rolling, sitting and standing, we have nice long conversations, dance and sing to music until Daddy gets home. Then it's a round of I'm gonna get your chin, super baby and other acrobatics until he goes down for his nap. After the next nap it's traveling time when we need to drive to get somewhere or play time again, tummy time, conversation, sit outside and watch the trees if the weather's nice, after his early evening bottle we do bath time if it's bath night and more playing until bedtime.
Playing can be anything from tummy time, playmat time, talk with Mommy, practice our rolling, sitting and standing, wiggling, tickle time, peek a boo, mirror staring (one of his favorites as he practices his faces), dancing, bouncy chair, blanket outside and watch the world, sit in his bouncy chair in a different room than the living room while Mommy does stuff that has to get done. He's not yet grabbing for things although he will hold/grab his teddy bear but has no interest in anything else yet. Once he starts reaching out for things then we can start with the touching games and letting him play with objects of different textures/shapes/sizes/colors etc...

(with a nine-week-old, when awake; when not awake, we're either being toted around in some sort of carrier, or napping in a chair in whatever room I'm in)
We thrill to the adventures of Lowly Worm and other storybook invertebrates.
We have some nice long conversations.
We play Flying!! Soooooperbaby!!! and get whirled around over Mum.
We practice standing up.
We go for swims in the tub together.
We have milk. That's NICE nursing, honey -- way to go!
We go to the Bum Spa for diapers.
We go for a walk. We live in a quaint wee village, so we go to the post office and the general store and the library and stuff like that, and say hi to neighbours. So we get a lot of people smiling at us and telling us we're SO BIG! And SO CUTE!
And sometimes -- noooo! Not time for cries! TIME FOR CUDDLES!!
Daddy is more into reciting Shakespeare soliloquies and singing, but with a side of FLYING SUPERBABY!! and the like.

It depends how old is the baby. Newborns - they sleep a lot. When the baby sleeps I take a nap too. Sometime I do some cleaning, etc. He got a little bit older we play, read a book together. And when he was a toddler, we even bake cakes!

My baby is 4 months old, and we play peekaboo, go for a walk, she has a jumper, and she plays with her rings on a gym. My daughter reads books to her, and we have to take my daughter to school and pick her up. She takes a couple naps and she eats lots too. We run errands, and when daddy comes home it's his turn to entertain her until bath time.

Depends on the age - My baby is now 2 1/2 years old. We play dress-up and toys and games together and eat and everything else together.

Wake up daddy, eat breakfast, play, go for walks outside, go shopping (a lot!), visit daddy at work, go out to eat, help him learn to do new things depending on what stage he is in. Just try to give him new experiences so he learns new stuff as much as possible. I try to read and sing to him a lot and talk to him also to develop his speech. We play peekaboo and other games like that too.
