Yes they dream. Dreaming, after all, is your brain's way of remembering all the events of the day. As for being black and white or in color...I don't know. They probably don't know either, if they've always been blind, because they wouldn't have seen color.

A really interesting question.
Isn't it amazing that none of the people, above, who took the time to answer did NOT bother to ask a blind friend, so that they would get the corect answer.
The answer given to me was that if the person had once had sight, then they would be familiar with color. If not then they would not know color except by a sighted person's description.
The first person would see colors in his/her dreams: the second would, unfortunately, NOT.

Of Course! Just because your blind doesn't mean you can't dream. Their dreams may not be exactly what they would look like in the real world, but neither do ours. And they can still hope to be an author or teacher.

Yes, a blind person can dream.
During his/her waking hours, a blind person experiences everything a sighted person experiences, except for the visual stuff. When a blind person dreams, the dream can contain aspects of anything they are capable of experiencing through any of their senses and memories (except, of course, for any visual stuff).

Yes, blind people dream. Their dreams may or may not include visual imagery (whether in color or black and white).

yes everyone dreams every night whether they remember or not- I think mentally challenged people may dream less, I'm not sure but their spindles are different.
I don't know.

Of course, the're life is just like yours and mine. They just can't see. But all their senses allow them to sense and experience life just as we do. Whether they dream in color - I can't say. But then, I can't say whether I do or not!

Sure why not. There is not reason why lack of sight would limit the imagination.
