With PETA losing ground and fur in fashion again, coon is back. The big ones with heavy winter coats here in the Dakotas should sell for $30+ a pelt this year. Some southern states may have a bounty but the pelts are worthless. Coon hunters down south will try to tell you they're good to eat but these are the same guys who run around drunk in the dark with loaded guns. RScott
