What is the best major for a sports doctor?

I would really like to go to a UC or CSU School, and be in sports medicine. However, I don't know which school offers the best programs or which major would help the most.

In med school, there is no major. When you take up residency at a hospital that is when you specialize.

There is more to life than California!
But be prepared to take lots of biology, physics, chemistry, comparative anatomy.
