The Mustang was created first as a 64 1/2 model. The Camaro was Chevy's answer which debuted in 1967. Ford created the Pony car with the Mustang and it's the only one that has survived. GM killed the Camaro and Firebird for good reasons, they weren't selling.

Right now, there isn't much competition with the Mustang. However, I understand that the Camaro, and the Challenger are on the way back soon.

Even though there not made anymore because of stupidity,the Camaro And Challenger will always be better than the Mustang.
