andy g (below) Regardless of what they were doing, NO ONE has the right nor authority to open up on unarmed civilians just because they are scared. What makes the lives of "diplomats" any more sacred than the lives of the innocent people that Blackwater mercs gunned down for no reason.

Another half truth

Blackwater USA was protecting US diplomats when the confrontation happened. If it weren't for lib trial lawyers and crybaby Henry Waxman Blackwater USA could do their job A little more research will show that Blackwater USA was hired by the government after the USS Cole attack Wonder who hired them at that time?

a 2004 directive issued by L. Paul Bremer, chief of the former U.S. occupation government in Iraq. The order placed private security companies outside Iraqi law. Just another example of how not to conduct an occupation or win the hearts and minds of people.

PS Apparently some people think Blackwater's job is murdering civilians.

The Iraqi government requires permission because they really are not in charge.

Bush is in charge of Iraq and it is plainly obvious. Not only to Americans, but to all 25 million Iraqis as well.

Tell ya what. The day Iraq can support itself, thats when they can try and prosecute. Till then, they should be gratefull,(the Iraqi govt,), that we are propping them up. By the way, any proof these killings happened the way the Iraqis say? Or is this just another U.S. bashing opportunity for good little socialist leftists everywhere?
