If Fred Thompson doesn't know what is going on in a small campaign staff, How can he run the United States of America ?
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — Republican Fred Thompson played down a staff member's departure and a New Hampshire supporter's defection Wednesday, saying it's not up to him to know what's going on at every level of his presidential campaign.
"This is a campaign with a lot of different moving parts and a lot of things going on simultaneously," Thompson said in an interview with The Associated Press.

First of all, it's an AP story, so its credibility goes out the window. Second, Hillary says the same thing. She said she never met that Chinese guy with all the money. Riiight. But if you think about it, does a CEO know what is going on in the entire company? No, of course not. It isn't his job to babysit every last person, but instead to lead the group as a whole to its ultimate goal.

He is the most boring person to listen to. Comedians would have a hay day with him as president he would be so awesome to make fun of. He sounds like Mr. Mackie from South Park mmkay everybody, who made a doogie in the whitehouse :) I think even I could get some laughs if he becomes president
Also he is the dumbest guy, at the republican debate I watched him make mistake after mistake, and bumble right into the hands of the news men that were asking the questions!!

Most candidates have staff problems from time to time... They don't personally oversee the day to day goings on of lower level members... that's what managers and handlers are for. The Candidates job is the direct interface with the public.
