I always said I would name my daughter Shannon when I had kids. When I was pregnant I was set on naming her that but about a month before I was due I saw the name Shanna in a book that I was reading. I thought that was prettier sounding than Shannon, and the meaning was beautiful so I named her Shanna. Nobody else had that name so although it wasn't a strange name, she was the only one in all of her classes. There were several Shannon's though. My daughter has always said that she was glad that I changed my mind at the last minute! But I do still like the name Shannon.

Its ok as long as anyone you know doestn studder my borther does and his friend was named shannon and it always came out shannnnonnn for soem reason she could stop saing the N sound I like Shannon Noemi

it's kinda old, i have alot of friends that are named shannon and they always say how tired they are of their name they always wish they had my name because not that very many people have it like people have my name, but in my state there are only about 4 Eva's, but Shannon more like a thousand.

shannon is my name and yes i like it. i dont think its that common i have only known like five other shannons in my whole life.
