I have that trouble too. Something that needs to be done, I want it to be done, but I can't make myself get started.
That doesn't make you lazy. When you work do you work hard? Do you do a good job? Then the problem is elsewhere.
I don't know about you, but my problem comes from depression and anxiety that I've been working on for years. Like I said, I don't know about you. Just don't be so quick to label yourself lazy. Keep an upbeat opinion of yourself--you're hardworking, consciencious and make great grades.

Most folks characterize laziness as a bad thing. It is actually a sad thing. It merely means one doesn’t want anything in life bad enough to pay the price. It could be said for losing weight, giving up a bad habit, earning a promotion, etc. You say you have motivation but one can have WANTING without motivation. Most folks WANT to be married but don’t have the motivation to do all the things necessary to make it work. Hence, all the divorces.
Laziness can be learned. If one has had a lot of things done for them, or they see others acquiring goals without a lot of effort, it can make it harder to get in the right frame of mind.
Best way out is not to watch others. Maybe you need a new or more interesting goal. Make it a contest with yourself. Take one more step today than you did yesterday. People with disabilities have to overcome more than just their frame of mind and have done wonders. They would give ANYTHING to be in your situation. You can do it, kiddo!

It's because deep down inside you just don't want to do it. It's like when your mother tells you to eat your vegetables when you're young and you don't want to do it. You think that one little thing, one minute, or one hour won't make a difference in your life, but it can and will. Find something to live for. Find a passion or something you like and build on that. Then when things get tough, stick it through or else you will feel like more of a failure.
Everyone on earth is like this in the beginning. Those people you admire and like have all had one point in their lives where they go, "Damn, I hate doing this." or "I don't want to do this." but only the real idiots and lazy people make an excuse to avoid it, while the great take it, and force themselves to do it.
Be great ;)

Im the same way so i know i cant really answer your question. I try so hard to do what i have to do but most of it dont get done. Umm I guess you have to really think about what you want out of life and that in order to get there...you have to get these things done.
