Blue stars are the hottest and most massive stars, and burn themselves out quickly. So all blue stars are young, which is to say, probably less than 100 million years old.

Blue stars are typically younger than yellow, red, or even white stars- they burn hotter, because of a larger mass, and don't last as long as smaller stars- there are several indicators of this - the power output is higher - based on surface temperature, supernovas come from blue stars, we see blue stars in areas of star formation, but don't see them where the star population is thought to be much older, it takes several pieces of the puzzle to help draw that conclusion...

Blue stars are usually young, they last only millions of years as opposed to billions for yellow stars like the Sun. They live such short lives because they exhaust their resources much faster than stars like the sun.

It's the asteroid 99942 Apophis that will come near (but miss) the Earth in 2034. Nothing to worry about. Even if it did hit the Earth (which it's not expected to do) it will only create a blast (probably over the ocean) about as big as a Hydrogen bomb.
