Use to be able to find Henry Mancini, Ray Connif, Jackie Gleason Orch., the Letterman in Easy Listening. Now I can't even find that catagory.

Yep - my wife and I had the same problem.

So, we borrowed, bought and hired various cd's of this type of music (you can hire them from your public library) and put them all on to DVDs.

You need to buy the software to do this - try Power 2 Go, you can download it fairly cheaply.

We now have 6 DVDs with 900 tracks on each.
That's 5,400 different tracks of only music we like.
No adverts and no DJs prattling on.

Reckoning that a track averages 4 minutes which is probably about right for this type of music - that's 360 hours of music.

If you play them for 8 hours per day, 7 days a week, they will only repeat every 6 weeks. Play them for 4 hours a day and that goes up to every 3 months.

Of course If you have the equipment (and it's not too expensive) you can transfer old LPs and tapes onto DVDs. and as you probably know you can pick those up in charity shops for next to nothing.

i believe it's called the same thing. where are you looking? i know some places that combine easy listening with jazz, or new age.
