The endpoints of the diameter of a circle are (3, -4) and (-1, 7). What are the coordinates of the center of the circle?

Please help??

Its the midway between the two co-ordinates so you do the following:
x co-ordinates (3 + -1)/2 = 2/2 = 1
y co-ordinates (7 + -4)/2 = 3/2 = 1.5

So the co-ordinate of the center is (1,1.5)

The centre would be half-way between the end-points.
Find the difference, divide by 2, apply to end-point.
x = 3 -(-1), = +4/2 = 2, 3 - 2 = 1.
y = 7 -(-4), = +11/2 = 5.5, 7 - 5.5 = 1.5
