What is the student life like? Are there lots of parties? I visited the school during an open house on the weekend, and it seemed like there were no students there... do a lot of people go home on the weekends?

I'm in the process of transferring to either there or Montclair State, but my boyfriend and several friends go there.
I've been there on the weekend before, and a lot of people do go home because everyone gets to keep their car on campus. There is stuff to do, though .. I've partied up there while visiting the boyfriend, and I know he goes out a lot. He doesn't go home a lot of weekends because there is stuff to do on campus.
It's definitely not as social as Rutgers, definitely not, but you will find stuff to do.

It has a high percentage of commuter students, like MSU and Kean. If you want a more social place, try Rutgers.
