maybe you should let his way be it since you get to carry the baby and most of pregnancy is about the mom so dads get left behind since you are going with those names it is just which one you want to go first let him be in on the naming it would be something for him to remember ya know!

Well, I'm glad you found two names that you both really like and the only problem is that you don't know which order to put it in.
I like the name Andrae, and I think Andrae Dietrich sounds better. But here's some food for thought: kids are pretty mean these days and although Andrae's okay, I think Dietrich could generate some really mean names and teasing.

I'm not sure I understand Andrae' - are you in the States? If so, I think the clearer spelling would be Andre. It's a fabulous name.

Again, assuming that much of your child's life will be spent in the US, I'd use Andre Dietrich. Unless he's actually a German citizen, I think it might be odd to have such a name that implies he's not American.

If I'm wrong, then Dietrich might be very appropriate. Otherwise, stick with Andre.

I would use the Andrae because I think he would be teased with a name like Dietrich

I prefer Dietrich Andrae.... though I know Andrae is a family name, but I just don't care for it.... What about Gunther (first or middle)? That's a German name....
