I thought hitting a baseball was part of playing the game, no?
Mike Lowell is versatile enough to play short, but I kind of doubt Francona will go there, so I'm sure he'll go about this similarly as to how the regular season played out at NL ballparks - Lowell, Youkilis, and Ortiz each with one game on the bench.

Play Lowell and Youkilis, sit Ortiz have him do some pinch hitting.
Lowell's bat and glove you cant get rid of, and Youkilis is the same way he didnt make an error alllll season, you cant take him out. Ortiz hasnt played 1st that much at all. you gotta do what gives you the best chance to win

Francona won't bench Lowell or Ortiz. Youkilis is the odd man out. But if you're a Bosox fan look at it this way. They've got his bat on the bench if they need him in a pinch hit situation. And they can take out wood hands (Ortiz) if they need Youkilis' glove in the late innings

Why Lowell? It's either Youk or Ortiz, they're both 1st basemen. It's because the stupid NL makes the pitcher hit. This is why NL baseball is so boring.

Ortiz will not start against left handed pitching otherwise Youk will sit. Lowell will start every game. Tito is not stupid enough to have more than one player playing an unfamiliar position. So everyone should forget about this Ortiz at 1st, Youk at 3rd and Lowell at ss nonsense.

I bet Ortiz will play defense(probably 1st base) at Coors...The Red Sox know not to leave his bat out of a game...*L*...

Because the AL has a position for a glorified golfer that allows a overage, out of shape player who cant play the game to hit and ONLY hit.
Its called the DH (Or Designated Hitter for the acronymically challenged) and the NL does not believe in this position because they believe in the purity of the game.
Addition: I said Glorified Golfer, which isnt even a golfer.

I think that lowell should go play short stop... youk sound play 3rd becasue that is what he played before he came to the sox and put oritz at first... and take lugo out.... Youk is hitting the best out of all three of them right now.. and they def don't want to take ortiz out of the line up..... I think we put someone at SS to take lugo out... we don't need him in the line up..
this a SOX fans point of view .. and i actually like how the N.L is set up.. i think i pitcher should have to bat .. if a pitcher is going to throw at someone then he should have to step up to the plate and gets whats coming to him..
