It's not responding to the water treatment. Try professionally laundering it, or professionally dry cleaning it. Total synthetics have a tendency to retain memory of random bends and folds. When you buy your next shirt, look for 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Do a standard washing, get it out of the washer immediately, and hang it to drip dry.
The wrinkles will fall out of it. Unless you can pay for professional cleaning, stay away from total synthetics

Ahhhh! Be careful when your iorning it, cause a shirt made of rayon/polyester can melt (somewhat melt, I mean, it won't become liquid or anything but still, it wil be all... deformed)! You need to iorn it with a steam iorn (not too hot) and before you start to iorn it use spray starch. That should work. I realise that everyone else says to take it to the cleaners, but that should be a last resort as it wastes money when you can do it yourself.

Just spray some starch on it. and roll it and put it away. after a while take it , and stretch well. Then Iron it. It will work. It worked for me.
Or, the only last source is drycleaners.
good luck!!!!

Use Downy wrinkle releaser. Im a mom of 3 and I use it on everything. All you have to do is spray it on and smooth the wrinkles out with your hand . It gets rid of some really tough wrinkles.

WOW! Um...if you cant do it by using the iron that you have in your home, I would strongly suggest that you take it to the dry cleaners and ask them if they can Steam Iron it for you...

too much heat was added and the fabric is damaged...best way to salvage it is to have a dry cleaner steam clean it and hopefully it will straighten out the mess you've made.

Have you tried taking it to the dry cleaners to make the fabric smooth? I'm sure they will be able to help you out.
