why did they add the color white when it never gets used. i mean whats the point of putting that in the box?

White is great from small white areas that are surrounded by other colors because if you color it with white first if you accidentally go over it with another color (say green) the green won't go over the white unless you really try. So White does have a use

I have used white before. It works really good on colored paper.

You can color on colored paper with white crayons.

Makes colors like, combined with:
Black: grey
Red: Umm light red
etc....

Well if you had like really dark paper or paper with lines on it. Its really useful
