i don't want to soder copper pipes, i want to melt copper to make jewelry

copper melts at 2800 degrees Fahrenheit.Simple casting furnace can be made using ceramic fire bricks and an oxygen/acetylene torch with a large "rose-bud" tip.Try to find a qualified commercial welder to help you with this.If he likes you,he will probably see this as an interesting project and will enjoy the challenge..Molten metal is less than forgiving,one mistake can result in serious injury or death.Be careful.

You need some very special equipment to make that happen because copper doesn't melt until it is almost 2000 degrees F.
Most copper jewellery is not cast from molten material. It is beaten and twisted etc. Copper wire is also used. This is not something that is considered a DIY hobby because of the costs involved and the safety risks. Metal at that temperature is nothing to fool with.

No a soldering iron won't create adequate warmth to soften copper,attempt reducing a bite of copper very skinny so it rather is like twine placed flux over the hollow and atmosphere then use a blowtorch to soften the twine onto the hollow lave to relax then record down it would artwork,be careful it will be very heat.leave it to cool down not dunked in water.

The melting point is 1983 degrees F. by the way.
