It has nothing to do with what you believe in. Overly defensive people are people suffering from paranoia, low self esteem, and sensitivity. Say you were wearing some expensive glasses. Some guy comes over, somehow offended by this and tells you that you're just some stupid, egotistical yuppie and that you've got no right to walk among real people like you're something special, and blah blah blah.

Define "overly", because I believe that people should be able to stand up for what they believe in.

Judging by how offended you are about being called an egotistical yuppie, I would have to say that you're upset because you saw truth in the comment, otherwise it seems to me as though you should've been able to brush it off like a big girl.

I know i get tired of overly defensive people on answers sometimes the people on here will get mad and start venting and raging about little simple things and I guarentee u that one of them will read this question and start their stupid whining and biotching just watch and see!

no way, i think everyone should keep an open mind when discussing topics that are controversial. everyone chooses their beliefs based on what makes the most sense to them, it doesnt make one side better than the other. i try staying biased on most topics.

Actually I don't......... they just end up getting me all riled up and for what! because they have issues...I don't think so!
unless you like drama then I guess I can see why you LOVE these sort of people.
