we should eliminate bush's deficit before we help anyone else
poverty is on the rise in America
sucks watching the us dollar fall to pieces , when will USA help USA?
I have gone without long enough, Us poor folks would like to be able to stop worrying about not having enough.
They may be worse off but we are falling behind
seriously 7.50-10.00 jobs are a joke 10.00 = 20k before taxes a year rent is 8k a year for a small 2 bedroom apartment hell heat/electric is 250.00 a month all winter :(
not including our insane gas prices or they inflation in the supermarkets.

Everything is relative. There are problems everywhere -- it is the nature of life. I suppose one might take the view that if there were any problems -- even small problems -- in one's country then these must be completely solved before their government should consider any form of assistance to other countries -- even if the problems in these other countries were very severe. I think very very few people would take this view, i.e. that only after their country became a utopia should they spend one cent to help anyone outside their borders.
So unless this is one's view then there would be circumstances in which one would support devoting resources to other countries.

Individuals should help Africans, if they wish to do so. The US government should not be giving our tax dollars to African governments. The money has a way of disappearing.

We are already helping Africa, and have been for years...through the Christian Bible Network...the 700 club...haven't you heard that? That's been going on for years upon years!
