You lucky guy....you will be going to Squaw Valley in California the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics.

If you want to gamble you'll have to go a few more miles north to Nevada to gamble.(15 min or so)

Back to Squaw....You will be able to walk to the Olympic Village from your condo to shop, to eat great food and drink wonderful California wine as well as take the tram up to the restaurant and swimming pool at the top of the valley. During the winter this tram takes skiers up and in the summer it takes hikers up and down as well. There are hiking and biking trails everywhere,
Several of the Restaurants in Tahoe City (10 min away) have lake view dining. You can also take a lake cruise on the old fashioned ferry boat which includes dinner if you choose or maybe a sail on the lake is more to your liking. Friends will stand in the window of Jakes Bar and wave at you as you take yourself on a "freezing-your-butt-off-cruise" around the lake while they are inside relaxing with a nice hot drink!
When there is snow, skiing, snowshoeing or tramming are choices. Just looking around is such a fantastic experience it's worth the trip!!! The place is Brilliant!!!!!
P.S. There is a heated swimming pool at the condo as well as numerous hot tubs available. Do your workout at the gym or cook dinner in the beautiful indoor kitchen adjacent to the pool and hot tubs. Sound ok.... TV in each room for insomniacs and real fires burning in the lobby and in the towers of the INN (condo).

head over to South Shore for some shows- either the big name acts in the big showrooms, or the FREE shows in the many lounges around town. Also, be sure to catch a buffet or two- maybe at Caesar's or Harrah's. Of course, there is skiing, but you can also ask the locals where they go to sled, then buy an inexpensive one and it the "slopes" for some free fun! I think the paddle wheelers, either the MS DIxie or the Tahoe Queen, run all year long and will take you to Emerald Bay either with or without dinner and drinks. Virginia City and Carson City are just miles away and are always fun to browse around. There is a train museum and the Nevada State Museum in CC and of course, VC has loads of historic and fun places to see. If you have time, you can check out Reno, too. There is always lots to do in the Tahoe area- have a great trip!
