Now that it has been firmly established that, at the time of her outing, she was DEFINITELY covert and working on WMD, particularly Iraq, issues;and that she had worked overseas and as a NOC for many years; can anyone still justify what the Bush Whitehouse, particularly Libby, Rove, Armitage, Cheney and, possibly Bush, did to undermine our national security and destroy the career of a dedicated covert CIA agent? Not to mention the many worldwide agents and operations that were compromised, conceivably killed, through their political vendetas? I look forward to the right wing nutcases that will inform me of some new, creative justifications for what was done. And please don't waste my time or yours by continuing to deny that she was both covert and a courageous American

I believe Valerie Plame, this Administration has been pathetic.

They exposed a CIA Agent.

They assassinated Pat Tillman because he was a Democrat who spoke out against the Bush Administration.

The lie about WMDs being in Iraq.

Armitage is who leaked it. He was not part of the Bush White House, and he personally doesn't like Bush.

All this was known by FitzGerald, but for there to be a crime of outing a covert agent, the law stipulates that 1) the person knew that the agent was covert and 2) it was done deliberately.

Since Armitage didn't know, he did not commit a crime.

There is nothing, but the fevered imaginations of Bush-haters, to base your claim on.

She was essentially outed by her loudmouth husband, who just had to reveal himself as having been sent by the CIA to Niger, where he was told that Iraqi officials had approached them about a trade agreement.

The only undercover work that glorified CIA secretary ever did was to give her effeminate husband Joe Wilson a BJ under the bed covers....

Even Patrick Fitzgerald couldn't prove it to be a treasonous act. Give it up.

Valerie's out pushing her new book with, of course, her point of view. You saw her on Olbermann, perhaps? She's hitting the liberal talkshow circuit right now, and until I see her venture into an unbiased venue, I will continue to have doubts.
By the way, thanks for being open-minded enough to allow us "right-wing nut cases" to answer. We do sooo appreciate it.

Would you still feel this way if Valerie Plame tortured people?

Yes, Richard Armitage should definately be charged. He admitted to it on CBS, so it must be true!

Yep, those of us that are informed know Plame's outing wasn't treasonous.
