As for me, I would only pay off all of my bills plus buy a nice home, car, etc. Then place the remainder in multiple bank accounts, then just live off the interest and help my close family and friends out of the interest.

Your idea sounds very good. I would buy my own home. Buy my husband a new car. Pay driving lessons for my daughter. If she wanted to go to college I would pay for it. Tell my husband he can leave his job. Whatever bills or debts we had I would pay them off. And do as you try to make it last and live the remainder of my days from the money it would make.

I am too young to have bills because I'm not even a teen yet. But I am a nature lover. I would help the Earth with most of the money and also buy some video games. Girls can play video games too.

Believe it or not, I'd donate it anonymously. That much money would complicate my life more than I'm comfortable with. For one thing, I'd have to start filing taxes again--and it's been more than 20 years.

5 million creates too big a blip to stay below the radar.

Spend it, baby!
Money is only good for that one thing. It's not edible, doesn't look great worn as a garment, etc.,etc.,etc.
If you don't spend it; what good is it?
Money -a lot! of money- is the buffer between "us" and the 'a.a.s.holes' of this world. Remove their leverage, and viola!
Freedom!
I would spend it erecting the biggest barrier possible. Then I'd be free to live my life as I choose. heh. This is the gift I would give to myself and the people I love.
Have a very good day! }:>

get a new house, and put the rest in investments. i have no debt, i have nice cars. I would probably also put my sister through art school, and set up a fund for my other sister who is mentally disabled so that my parents no longer have to worry about her.

I would like to lie and say something responsible. The truth of the matter is I would be on the first plane to Japan.
