i would love that too. only you can't physically sleep that long without being sedated or in a coma.
but you can sleep for many hours as long as you get up to urinate.
it sounds cliche but exercise like a mofo until you're ready to drop. eat some pasta and bread and take a hot bath/shower. make sure the room is quiet and dark and drink warm milk.
i would normally say just drink alcohol but maybe you find that to be a drug.
also, valerian root works wonders.

Your natural wake-sleep cycle, not to mention your kidneys would prevent you from sleeping for a solid 24 hrs. You need to pee approximately every 2-4 hrs to empty your bladder. You make urine constantly, so this would not be possible to accomplish.
As a nurse, the only patients I ever saw who 'slept' for 24 hrs were heavily sedated, had breathing tubes down their throats and a catheter in their bladder. Or they were in a coma.
There is no reason I can conceive of for a person needing to sleep for 24 hrs.

What body aches you would have! Can't think of anything, you'd be going against your body if you did. Have to agree with the "you'd need to pee" post.
