My cousin is 17 and is planning on getting married around her 18th birthday to her boyfriend, 21, this December. Nobody knew about this until a few weeks ago. Now she wants me to help her plan the wedding and go with her to her fiancee's hometown for the wedding. HELP!

you may not like what she is doing. but she need someone there for her and look like she asking you. Yes I think you should go just to be there for her.

why is she choosing to go to her fiance's home town for the wedding? The wedding usually is at the bride's home town. Is her family not behind her on this marriage? Did you ask her why the rush to marry? If she can answer these questions with out any hesitation then she should be backed up by her family. The questions need to be answered 1st though. Tell her to really think because you can only get married once for the 1st time...........

Your cousin asked for your help. Why would you not want to?
I got married at 18 and have been happily marrried now for 28 years.

What's the problem? You don't want to help? If not, just tell her you are too busy or make up some excuse.

when she is 18 she can marry anyone she chooses....it is up to you if you choose to be a part of her new life or not
