That is an interestingly worded question. As many of the worlds countries have no problem electing female leaders, I think they are quite ready for the US to follow suite.

That being said, I think the US might be ready to vote for "A" female president, though perhaps not the one you are speaking of. It makes me sad, as, I think she would do a great job. Just as I and many others voted for one candidate, not because we supported him, but because he wasn't the other guy, I think many may vote for another guy because he isn't her.
