Depends.... if the Giants lose to Miami, then, no, I will definitely not say that.
If Green Bay keeps winning, then no, I would not say that.
If the Redskins beat the Patriots, then no, I will not say that.
If the Eagles beat the Cowboys, then no, I would not say that because it would show the Cowboys are overrated thus beating them proves nothing. Losing to them in week one proves less.
If the Panthers beat the Colts, then no, I will not say that.
If none of those things happen, then I would consider it, but it still would not be a given.
The Giants are hot right now, but they also haven't played a good team in like 4 weeks.
The Cowboys have only beaten one good team - the Giants. I'm not completely sold on them or the Giants at the moment.
Furthermore, that would mean they split games.... so how do you say one is better than the other?

YES
Remember the first game of the season?? The Giants were a struggling team that looked like they would end up 3-13. They were many injuries that night and they Cowboys still had to throw a 70 yard touchdown in the last 3 minutes to put the game away.
Now, its a different story. The giants got healthy and their defense looks completely different. They are firing off the ball, they have the best D linemen in the Game (Osi), and their secondary is improving every game.
Eli Manning is finally showing some consistency, Plaxico is having a carreer year, and the two tandum tail back seems to be working.
Dallas struggled with the hapless Vikings. I think my High School team is more of a passing threat then the Vikings. Dallas is (6-1) but every week they show the world they have alot of holes in the D-fense.
If they Giants are healthy when the two teams play, a new team will be crowned best in the NFC.

I find it ridiculous that everyone is saying Dallas barely beat the Vikings. The Vikings barely even scored a touchdown, granted both teams had a defensive score. Dallas may not be as dominant at this point as the Colts or Patriots, but Tony Romo has been doing this for 1 year, where as Peyton and Tom have a lot longer than that. So I say, considering the still pretty new Romo just getting better and a defense that is coming together more and more after dealing with lots of injuries, the cowboys are quite impressive, and no matter how they win and what they've done, they are 6-1.

They would have a good argument but a lot depends on a few other teams play like the Packers and Redskins. If the Redskins beat the Pats this weekend and the Packers keep winning then they too would have an argument for the best team in the NFC.
It is still a bit early to crown the NFC champs..

Depends on if the Giants keep playing good ball, and if the CowBoys keep playing down...like the last two weeks. If that happens, yes.....if both teams pplay great...it would depend on how bad they beat them. If it happens. Didn't they already win once? If so...it would be a split, and the best team would be decided in the playoffs....... much as will happen with the Pats and Colts.

No need to wait until the 11th. They're the best now. I could name a couple of teams in the NFC better than Dallas.

i think of the Giants win via 10. i think of the Cowboys are having considerable matters now. they have performed undesirable interior the final 4 video games. And now they're disillusioned with Romo in Mexico. And TO hasn't practiced this week.

Yes. Who else would there be? The Packers seem to be winning with smoke and mirrors. Though the Giants would still be like the 4th or 5th best in the NFL.

If the Giants beat the Cowboys, that would be a split. Between division rivals, that is nothing to measure with. But maybee..........

i would say that the giants were the best team on the field that day in that game. besides, wouldn't you rather be the best team going into the super bowl? why worry whose better, you still have to lace them up and play. the elite teams don't worry about whose the best, they don't need the their egos stroked
