So just let the doctor think he knows everything.
I had that same thing with my second one. I knew what day I got pregnant. I was doing a basal metabolic chart every day.
He said the baby was going to be early, premie.
She was not, she was 6#2 oz. but full term, just little.
I just figured the doctor wasn't there, so how would he know exactly when I got pregnant anyway.
They have to go by a chart because most women don't know when it was because they do it every day. hahaha poor me, didn't get it every day.

Human gestation is not an exact science and due dates are based on generalizations. All women and every pregnancy is different. Due dates are simply estimations of delivery and probably should be taken with a little skepticism. It is quite common for babies to come several days and even weeks before or after that due date yet are still considered full-term. Conception does not necessarily always happen on the date of sexual intercourse. Sperm can live in a woman's body 3-5 days after ejaculation and a mature egg can live 24 hours after ovulation. So, while you remember the exact date you had sexual intercourse, it does not necessarily equate to the date you conceived.

No you shouldn't be worrying at all, its too early for the ultrasound to pick up a heartbeat. Its usually around 6/7 weeks before it can.

they were 5 days off with mine.
i charted everything, so i knew when i had ovulated & conceived. but they gave me a due date 5 days sooner than what i had figured out. they determined mine via u/s, not LMP, because i was amenorrheaic.
there often off by up to a week with the due date, or so i've read.

yeah well the dates the doc gave me were totally off too. i had been raped by someone but didn't do anything about it because i thought i was already pregnant becasue the dates the doc gave me pointed to a few weeks earlier when i was with my now fiance. but he was wrong! 2 years later a test had to be done and what do you know, my fiance is not my daughters biological father. that leaves the bastard who raped me but i dont want to pursue it now cuz it will be my word against his and he is in the military and i know he will have a good lawyer when i wont and i dont want him to turn around and fight for custody. i could never see her with him or even knowing who he is! my fiance is a good dad to her still and we are now expecting another.

Does it really matter? The baby will come when ever it feels like it. I think they go by the date of your last period, not when you actually ovulated and did the deed.

They generally count from your last period date not your ovulation date.
