Intelligence is 99% modesty.
And when it comes to modesty, I'm simply up there with the best of them by far.
Therefore I an highly intelligent... and modest. Which makes me almost superhuman.

In a way, yes. I have a BA, an MA, and a PhD. But I cannot, for example, understand how machines work while I am using them. I have trouble opening things (cans, parcels, anything), but my wife can do those things without any trouble. She often says to me 'How can such an intelligent person be so stupid?' I can speak four languages fluently, I can speak about Shakespeare's minor plays with no preparation whatsoever, I can sing tenor, bass, counter-tenor, I can do the Times Crossword in 20 minutes, etc etc etc But are these the real markers of intelligence?
What ARE the markers of intelligence? I have finished an academic career, and am now working for a high-flown qualification in healthcare with Macmillan so that I can spend the rest of my working life in hospitals, care homes, hospices and home visits. But I Can't fix anything in the home, I don't understand plumbing, for example.
So what IS 'intelligence'?

Yes, am intelligent but I didn't always think so. I left school at 15 years old with no qualifications.
When I was 34 years old, I went to university and studied successfully for a BA hons degree.
When I was 47 years old, I went back to university (part-time) and gained a postgraduate certificate in management.
At 50 years old, I graduated with an MA from Leeds University and achieved it whilst working full-time.
I have a good job, managing a charity for older people.
I am glad that I had the opportunity to study and realise my potential.

I am intelligent enough to know how far up my ars my head is. In fact the other day the doctor told me of a remedy where they operate and put a window opening in my belly area so I can see out. Then I will be just like everyone else.

Well if I was on a scale of human intelligence I certainly wouldn't be near the top, but I know enough to get by in my simple life.

Yes I think I'm intelligent, but what matters is the wisdom you use to convey the intelligence

A dangerous question to ask because if one declares themself to be intelligent, it could encourage the stalkers on this site to give them even more thumbs down entries.

Well I'm in The 10th grade and have an IQ of 112. So i wouldn't call myself a genius but it is above average.

Like all young men I set out to be a genius, but mercifully laughter intervened.
