I think the Bible can be intepreted in different ways, just as any book. There are lots of questionable sins, such as Worrying, working on Sundays, etc.....Sometimes there are sins in the Bible that are totally unavoidable. I err on the side of genetics, biology, science when it comes to sexuality not a thousands year old book. There comes a time when we have to use common sense and logic after all thats what science is for One thing most humans have in common is we all like sex, so I think to abolish and condem sex between two consenting adults is not going to cause anyone to burn. Sex/Love is a part of life that makes people happy, I dont think god would have wanted you to try and live a lie either and he also said love thy neighbor which means even if he is gay or bi etc.....

The bible doesnt really lay any laws down anywhere... well certainly not the New Testanment.
Its just a lot of cryptic stories thats are so open to interpretation all the little offshoot cults have been arguing over it for years.
When it was written the rate of reproduciton for a nation was very important.... More workers more soldiers breater expansion. So the interpretation then was different than it is now.. however unlike Windows it was written with some longevity in mind...

I did it by finding gay positive Gnostic Christianity as a viable alternative. We do not think people are sinners, just lacking in gnosis, knowledge. What is gay positive are things the orthodox christians destroyed like, " When the two become one so the male is not male and the female is not female then do they enter the kingdom." As an example.

Many christians believe the bible to be out dated as it was writte in a completely different time when differnt things were acceptable, this is why some think of the bible as guide ofhow to live rather than a direct way of living.

I am a bisexual Christian. In my bible I am told to obey the 10 commandments as the rules God told us to keep. I looked and didn't find anything about sex except adultery. The other passages, I consider handed down by man, not God. Like not eating pork chops. I do that too. God is my father, I am one of his children. He is a perfect father. He would never condemn any of his children who have no malice in their hearts toward him and his word. I believe his is going to have stern words for those who judge others. And those who go out of their way to hurt their brothers and sisters in His name. Woe unto the self righteous among us. For they shall be judged harshly.

I am christian, a pastors kid actually, and I am gay. these are my views
being gay is wrong. It is a sin. but all sins are equal, right? so why make a huge deal about it? you should try not to commit sins, but you are born sinful anyway. If you put the guilt trip on yourself for being gay, you should also give yourself the guilt trip for all your other sins.
these are just my views.
btw, I haven't told my dad that I'm gay ;)

Those ''passages'' have no relevance in Christianity.
Jesus said at the Last Supper....what is old is old, and what is new is new. what is the in past has gone away. there is but ONE commandment....love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and might; and love your neighbor as yourself.
I answer only to God. Not you, or any other sinner. God knows my heart...that's all that matters.

God didn't write the bible. Those people John and Mark and all did. They are not really the views of God.
God is supposed to be your father. Good fathers support their childrens' decisions.
Being homosexual is not a sin.

I am bi and Christian, and here is my interpretation.
The bible does not forbid homosexuality in general, it simply forbids gay sex, as per the saying "man shall not lie with man, as woman shall not lie with woman", etc.
It does NOT read "man shall not love man."
And anyway, the verse about the immoral inheriting the kingdom of heaven thing is very vague. The Bible doesn't say "Thou shalt not be gay".
