Looking at the striking beauty of 'nature',the galaxy, the animals ,flowers & trees & even myself.how perfectly everything is times & orchestrated in all these things.Even in the functioning of the human body, the way seasons change & the leaves turning so pretty during fall.Looking at the cycle of life from how a baby is born, how a bird migrates for miles together & returns back to the place where it started off without a GPS.Looking at the fact that with all our intelligence we are unable to recreate or duplicate life, our incapacity to create even a squirrel. The fact that evolution is just a presumption, man evolved from monkey & it has even since stopped there & we haven't further evolved into another being...all this points out to a supreme being,an all powerful God who is behind all this. How is that folks with all their intelligence are unable to believe in a God who created them?

And the follow-up question: "If life developed so perfectly, why is there disease, predation, child rape, deformity and evil in the world and what happened to the 15 or so hominids that are extinct (most notably the Neanderthals)? What are we the new and improved model? And when will we get rid of our tail bone, appendix, man nipples, body hair and other useless appendages that are remnants of our distant past.
You're logic of jumping to the supernatural conclusion, reminds me of the movie “The Gods Must Be Crazy,” a native in the Kalahari Desert encounters technology for the first time--in the shape of a Coke bottle. I found this to be very amusing, but I also began to see parallels between his thought process, and that of the modern day Theist. Both are using CAVEMAN LOGIC to explain their world. I fail to see the difference between “hmm, bottle fall from sky, must be gods” and “hmm, trees and butterflies prove the existence of god.”
In both of these cases, someone is simply replacing one unknown for another unknown, but proving nothing!
Not only can God not be proven, but I will also go so far as to say that God can be disproved. It is impossible for something to be all knowing and all good. If you are aware that something bad is going to happen, and you allow it to happen anyway, then you cannot be all good. If God created everything, then he also created evil. It is also impossible to be all-powerful; can God create a rock that even he himself cannot move?
I would have thought that as man became more knowledgeable and logical that he would have pushed aside his caveman beliefs, but it seems to be just the opposite.

Why is a God or superpower necessary? What does the idea of God give you? A good feeling? A sense of security? A hope of permanence? In what way do these things help you live? Do they really calm your fear? You will always have questions deep inside every thought you think about God, 'Is God real?', 'Does God hear me?', 'Why does God allow me to suffer?'. You will hang on because you are hoping for heaven but yet no one has ever been able to clearly define what that is so you use your imagination to create a place of unending happiness and peace with no pain. Why is God necessary for that fantasy? Why is that fantasy necessary? What is wrong with you just the way you are and what you are doing? The original sin was to suggest there was an idea called original sin.
The existence or non-existence of God is unnecessary for living.

When it comes to me, I like to think that everything has a scientific explanation. That there are no miracles such as God answering prayers etc.
I believe that Humans at the moment, are too reliant on technology, and have started to "settle down". I think this is wrong, and we should continue to advance our technology and not stop.
I also believe that we have the ability to communicate telepathicly, and that we are just too "lazy" to figure it out.
It is also ignorant of people to think that we are alone in this universe... just cos we cant see it, doesnt mean its not there. (i know thats kinda contradicting myself with the whole god thing but anyway......)
But yeah, i think that we still have alot more to achieve: Space travel, time travel, improved everyday technology etc.

THERE IS NO GOD! that's why there are so many god's are you catholic, jewish, morman, all these religions create by man, if you beleive in a god it means you have been suscessfully brain washed, and you probally do not know it. death is what is was like before you were born. a state of non- existence, there's no heaven.....
