I think that everyone does to a point. I think that if you judge someone negatively because of something that they can't help that's mean so I try not to judge too harshly & always give people a chance. BUT...There are certain things that really do say a lot about a person & I don't even WANT to see past. For example: I know that I do not want to spend time with dirty people, so if a person is skuzzy, I certainly don't go out of my way to buddy up to them. I'm not talking about people who get dirty at work...I like honest ,hard working people. I'm talking about greasy haired, black finger nailed, fuzzy toothed type of people. Yes, I judge things like that as someone who takes no pride in anything. I work hard for what I have & though I'm not arrogant, but I do take pride in things. Why would i want to be around someone who doesn't? And NO it's not mean, it's called standards.

Of course you do, unless you're blind! Whether or not they know it, people judge other people by the way they look in less than 5 seconds. You may not act on it or say anything, but you sure are thinking it! Take for example little kids, they take one look at you or anyone on the street that looks interesting and they will notice, point and say something about them. Adults are the same way, it's just that we have learned to not be so rude.

OK to be honest i have bad days where i do judge people by the way they are dressed etc.
i know its mean and i shouldn't but i usually only do it when I'm having a bad day and I'm in a bad mood other wise i don't judge but i feel guilty after i do judge people

dont worry, youre not the only one. Most of them the time, I am right about that person though. i know judging someone before getting to know them is not right, but thats part of being a great observer. You observe that person's looks, behavior, the way they dress, etc. sometimes these things give away some of their personalities.

well sometimes you cant judge a book by its cover, but once you open it up and your right....then you feel ok. we all judge things by the way they look, a car, food, a movie, a computer, a cell phone, if it dont look nice we may think twice. any body who says they doesnt is lying we can all be shallow at times. no one walks down a dark alley and sees someone coming in the opposite direction and not feel like this person is gonna rob or rape them.

I think I'm a pretty good judge of charachter so yes I would say I do judge people from thier look..... I think the way a person looks can tell alot about them. How they dress, how they present themselves.

What I do judge is a person or persons in a store or out in public who have children with-snotty noses, soda/tea in a bottle, no shoes, not appropriately dressed for the weather. The parents are purchasing cigarettes/or beer.

i do once in a while but i try so hard not to. i really believe that u shouldnt judge people by how they look because they could realy turn out to be a cool person even though they dont look like it or vice versa. so i really try to get to know someone before i judge them.

You know I learned awhile back not to judge a book by its cover but I do have to admit 1st impressions mean a lot with me especially when it comes to professional people. IE teachers, doctors, bosses, etc. O=)
