A few reasons:
1. There have to be hearings first. Pelosi said about a month ago there was not enough members of Congress to literally conduct all the hearings necessary for all the investigations.
2. The Republicans in the Senate are filibustering.... stalling all legislation.
3. We can't just pull all troops out of Iraq.

1. It's not Bush's war. If you really believe that, you're really unaware of what is happening in the world. I'd suggest you do some more research.
2. Define 'corrupt policies'. I bet you don't have a single example. This is because there aren't any... and it's a Liberal talking point used by those who are long on sound bytes and short on facts.
3. That majority in Congress won't last. This Congress is the worst in American history... with an approval rating that will hit single digits soon if they don't do something.

A. It is not "Bush's war" and democrats have no intention of 'reversing' it. The war on terror is making all those very rich politicians that much richer.
B. The 'corrupt' policies are not corrupt, but are normal federal policies. I don't like a lot of them either but that does not make them corrupt. It makes them UNPOPULAR.

They simply don't have the votes, particularly the 60 votes necessary to pass anything in the Senate. And they are afraid of being branded as traitors, or worse, if they cut off the funding.

Because his policies aren't corrupt, the Dems look like idiots saying they are, and it's easier to run against the President than actually offer any ideas...plus, the war is not as unpopular as the Daily Kos would have you believe, and the electorate will not put up with Democrat shenanigans with the troops.

It's the same old same old...they adopt each other's policies, relabel them and plagerize doctrinal beliefs rather than sticking to their guns. And Play on Your Emotions....need I say more? It's a game of hide and seek.
