Point totals are tallied daily and then you are seeded based on your totals in each category today you are 10th so you get 3 points in GAA but after a couple good games the next night you move to 6th which gets you 7 points so that moves you up 4 points. There can be wild swings in the first 5 or 6 weeks because there are so little games played but once you get part way through the season the movement slows to a point or two on a daily basis.

You lose points based on your ranking within the category. Early in the year, like now, you can get 5 goals in a night and pass several people in that column. You would gain points that way.

Later in the year, you can have 10 goals in a night and still have a huge gap to the guy ahead of you.

The difference between rotisserie hockey and baseball is that in baseball, teams play 18-20 games every 21 days. In hockey, teams can play as few as 9 games in 3 weeks or as many as 15. So the amount your team plays varies considerably.

What he said.

Remember that this early in the season there are not as many total stats, so rankings can change very quickly, especially with stats like shut outs that don't add up to a lot. It is all based on your rank. Expect things to settle down more later in the season.
