Yes, when I planned, produced and directed a play/musical at my former church. I was leader of the drama ministry and my team and I wanted to do a dinner theater type of production. I found a great one on a Christian play company called "Uncle Phil's Diner". It was set in the '50s and we had great music (recorded and live from our praise band) and dancing, everyone in it was a church member and they were so professional in their commitment and performance. We had such a blast putting on this production and got many accolades and much applause.
But we always put out the message and kept in our hearts that we did this for God's glory --not our own. And it was a great outreach message to our whole community.
