My ear has been stuffy since two Saturdays ago. It also started to make this popping noise when I sswallowed, yawned, whatever, and sometimes randomly about a week ago. Now the pops are getting quieter so I can't tell if it is still stuffy because I think I got used to it. If I can't feel my ears being stuffy or hear those pops by my appointment on Friday, should I still get it looked at or cancel? And does anyone know what that possibly could be?

Even if you feel better, have it checked anyway. I had a friend complain about his ear but never went to have it checked. He started complaining about stabbing pain in his ear. One day he finally went into emergency. He never left. The infection had deteriorated his ear drum. He became brain dead after the check up. He died less than a few days after. I don't mean in anyway to scare you, but, ever since then, I've taken ear infections or pain very seriously. He was only 20 years old.

It sounds like you have fluid trapped in your ear. Unless it is painful, it's nothing to worry about. It will eventually go away on it's own, but it may take weeks. If it is painful, it's probably infected and you need to have it looked at.

could be a minor ear infection, which if you check early can clear up really easily. id say to go get a quick check up at your doc--better to be safe than sorry! good luck!
