Im trying to trade devin hester and larry johnson to a guy that desperately needs a running back in return for randy moss. the problem is that I also have tom brady, and while the guy i proposed the trade to is cool with it, the league has vetoed it 3 times because theyre affraid of a little double dipping. Ive tried to explain that from a production standpoint im losing out here but theyre not having it.

That's not a totally unfair deal if the guy needs a RB and has some depth at WR. However, if I was in your league and could prevent this trade from happening, I probably would. Brady and Moss on the same team is pretty nasty!

You would have to re-package that offer and include someone else who's good on your team, if that's even possible. Randy Moss is like the number 2 or 3 best player to have overall right now and Brady is number 1. Johnson is in the high 20's or mid 30's so that's quite an advantage for you. Devin Hester may pay off but right now nobody is going to buy that.

No. If I am in that league, I veto that crap in a heartbeat!

Larry Johnson isn't the fantasy animal he once was. In my league Johnson has 76 points to 143.20 from Moss. Thats double the fantasy production! Hester is near usless because he is non-existent in the passing game and will only break maybe 4-5 returns for a TD this year when it is all said and done.

If he were smart he would grab Jesse Chatman and use him at RB.

You're going to find a hard time doing that. I don't think other teams should be concerned that you'll have Moss and Brady on the same team, that shouldn't factor in the voting. But your trade offer isn't enough for Moss, you would have to give up players much better than LJ or Hester for Moss.

If you have decent running backs aside of Larry Johnson, then your trade is going to hurt other teams by making you better. So long as they think this, they are not going to allow the trade, fair or not fair. Is it right? Probably not, but that's the way it is. If you've tried three times with the same result, I guarantee you there is nothing you can do about it at this point. Better luck next time.
