Mortgage & home improvement, pampering myself (pedi/mani/massage/facials/haircut/mini trips/dinners) and loved ones ( I love buying them gifts for no occasion).
I hate shopping malls, so you won't catch me shopping for clothes too often.

The last things I bought were a new pc, a 21" inch widescreen, 1 extra external hard drive. So most money for me would go into gadgets or upgrading my system, computer supplies. Second comes music: heavy metal and japanse stuff. Number three would by shampoos en conditioners. But only because I like to have long hair. Wouldn't want to have it shaven off just because I don't wash it. Sorry to bust your bubble.

The main things I spend money on after the bills are paid are clothing, food, and most definitely DVD's, I love movies. I have also been spending a lot on books lately. But don't go so stereotypical when you think of women. Yes some women are stereotypical, but the majority of us, are not.

Electronics and books. I build a new computer every year, or at least do major upgrades on some of the older ones. Then there's the HD-DVR, the HD-DVD player, the planned Blu-Ray player, the receiver that needs to be upgraded to one with multiple HDMI inputs, new speakers to go with the 7.1 receiver, the debate with the husband over X-Box vs. Wii vs. PS3, and plenty more. We also need to invest in an electrician to rewire the house to support all the toys. Not to mention that we need to build a new Linux machine to be a database server to keep track of the 3000 books.
As for purses, my last one cost $8.50. It should last a few years.

Heck no! I spend most of my money on books! Suspense thrillers, fantasy, anything but romance. I also spend money on paper and pens (so I can write. I love writing). I hardly own any make-up, and the make-up (and handbag for that matter) that I own, was given to me as a birthday gift.
Yes I am a proud book-aholic.

Most of my money goes to rent and my car payment (but not upgrading my car). The rest is spent on food, entertainment (going out with friends, books, etc.) If I have money left over, I buy clothes, shoes, go to the hair salon, etc.

Can you say, sexist? I spend the most money on housing, like most American men and women.
I don't buy make-up or handbags. Have fun with...your car.

You have a lot of nerve to talk about makeup and handbags. I may be wrong, but I'm probably not alone in suspecting that you're the same person with all those hats on their avatars. And now in blackface, talk about makeup! That's kind of funny. Because only a strong man could wear a hat like the one's your avatars like so much. But then, I wonder how many would just think you're gay? Would you like a handbag to go with you hat. Maybe something macho like a mail carrier's bag.

Rent/utilities (incl. hydro, electric, cleaning lady, dog walker, ridiculously extravagant cable package) - approx 35%-ish
RRSP - 6%
The rest is spent on food, clothing, shoes, subway fare, hair cuts, and entertainment. Of those things, I think entertainment takes up the most $$. A night out costs about $100, so if I go out every Fri and Sat, that's $400 out of every paycheck. That's why I've been trying to only go out one night every weekend.

Most of the money that I spend is on my daughter. Going out for lunch comes in second in my spending.

Oh and lets not forget rent, baby sitter, bills, food, cat food, you know the same thing ALL parents have to pay. but my daughter is worth it. God Bless
Oh I forgot about gas for my car that I just got back from getting fixed. ( but that is another story )
