There are only 28 schools in the US and I want to know what the best 5 or 10 are. I couldn't find anything on the internet. I really want a school in a smaller town tough.

All 28 are excellent. Cornell is ranked first.

The bad news is that you won't have much of a choice in which (if any) Vet school you can go to. Most of them have residency requirements. Auburn, for example, only accepts ten students per year from outside of Alabama and Tennessee. The University of Minnesota only accepts students from Minnesota and the Dakotas, UC-Davis accepts very few students who are not California residents, etc. 50 of Cornell's 86 slots are reserved for New York residents. Most of the other 36 are reserved for residents of New Jersey and New Hampshire.

The link below will help you figure out which Vet schools are possible for you.
