Psychics generally tune into someone that are sitting in front of them or someone that they are spiritually connected to. Why would any one bother to give you a reading so flippantly?
Yes, I believe in psychics. I have been psychic myself, unfortunately I have no control over my ability, it comes and it goes. I find if I try to force it then I am just making it up, so I'll just stick to the messages I get. BTW- this is not the psychic hotline. People will just make stuff up to have fun with you when you ask a question like this.

"psychic" is a tricky thing to define. If you mean a sense that goes completely beyond scientific explaination such as talking to dead spirits or reading minds, then no. Psychics are not real, otherwise someone would have collected James Randi's free MILLION DOLLARS to anyone who can proove they are a psychic.

The human mind, however, is an incredibly powerful thing, able to deduce and reason even without conscious thought. Predicting the future is simply a matter of interpreting the present and the past. Reading minds is interpreting body language and speech patterns.

There's no such thing as psychics, but that doesn't mean the universe isn't a fascinating place!

Tell you something about you... often times I get feelings that I find difficult to put into words, and this definitely applies to you. I was going to pass you by, but something grabbed me. I get something regarding the name you chose, "bob"; almost like it's a smart-alecky sort of a name to you, similar to "john doe"; like you don't want anyone to know who you are but you want people to know that you don't want them to know.

I also get curiosity and disbelief from you. I'd guess that you're pretty sure you don't believe in psychics, but you are curious, and something keeps drawing you to this particular thread at YA, and seeing all of the "are you a psychic?" has made you decide to see for yourself.

I could read you better though if I could see you. I've recently discovered that I'm rather good at seeing a person, connecting to their energy, through their eyes, in a picture.

Everyone's psychic to some degree or other. The more you pay attention to what's going on around you, the more you will realize it.

It's your inner voice (not to be confused with mental illness) that gives you insight about a person or a situation. To me, it's almost like having a higher level of commonsense. Believe it or not, there are some people who don't seem to have commonsense and stupid things tend to happen to them all the time because they don't pay attention to their inner alarm system that should warn them to not be around certain people or to stay away from certain places/situations.

My brother sees entities or ghosts since he was a small child. It frightens him but that's a gift that was given him and it has been there.

In fact, I know a few people who are very psychic and tend to severely self medicate theirselves with alcohol because they seem to always "just know" things and sometimes they are bad things that they can feel or see and it bothers them because they know that it will come to pass.

I don't know if those psychics who have the glowing neon signs outside of storefronts are authentic, but this is the advice I would give if you decide to visit one.

When you paying them, put the cash on the table for them to pick up. Do not hand them the cash.

But if you really want to find out anything of a fortune telling for yourself, there's a book that is very helpful and you don't need a psychic to tell you the messages you will get from this method.

Another thing that I read somewhere about your intuition is, if you continually ignore it, it will go away.
