x/6 its a fraccion

again this is the equation x/6 = 11

it,s say multiply both sides by 6???

the result is x/6 = 25

why 25 ???

and can you explain me if you know what is the process to get 25

11 CANNOT equal 25

If x/6 = 11

x = 66

If x/6 = 25

x = 150

Um ...

If the original equation is x/6 = 11, the problem is telling you to multiply each side by 6 in order to isolate the variable.

x/6 times 6/1 (which cancels the 6s) = 11 times 6.

x = 66.

For the 25, I am not sure where that came from. If it's a separate problem, x would equal 150 in that case.
