I would get a lawyer and talk to them about this....and ask if you can do something along the lines of abandonment as you two separated and she's nowhere to be found....there are so many different things that you can do, but you have to talk to a lawyer about what you can/should do and find out what all of your options are and then go from there....best of luck to you!!

You will have to find a lawyer, who will tell you the exact state requirements. I believe you will have to send a certified letter to her last known address, and place newspaper advertisements in select areas (like maybe her hometown, or the town of her last known address). Then, after a certain period, you can continue even if she has not been found.

You'll have to check the state you are in but I believe you post an ad in newspapers looking for her. If she doesn't respond in a certain amount of time, the court will grant the divorce. You have to 'attempt' to locate her I guess.
