My friends and I are going to have a movie night and watch a few horror movies. We already picked out Halloween 4, but what are some other good horror movies?

Don't go and pick up the usual slasher movies like Hallowee or Jason series. If you want to have a great night, find some unusual or very old monster movies.
Frankenstein with Boris Karloff
Dracula with Bela Legosi
The Blob with Steve McQueen
Now, for a true fun experience, pick up the following movies:
The Evil Dead
The Evil Dead II
Amy of Darkness
- All starring Bruce Campbell. These movies are fun to make fun of and great in their own way.

Saw 1-3. Saw 1 isn't really gory at all, Saw 2 is mildy gory, and Saw 3 is pretty bad. Yeah its blood and guts, but its also very cleverly done; I think the storyline is pretty good. When you're done watching those, go out to theaters and see Saw 4, its coming out this weekend!

the new stephen king movie 1408 was pretty scary and good. also 28 weeks later was pretty good.
