i do smoke and i feel it relaxes me and it has helped me with my medical problems such as this horrible and unbareable back pain i had for about 1 month and i hadn't smoked for a while i smoked one night and it did go away...and its just a very relaxing thing yet i don't think i should keep doing it cuz i am afraid one day i will get caught up and lose everything i love!

i have lots of experience, i think it should be legal. have done it almost everyday for the past 10 years. even in the morning before work. i am fully productive, dont look like someone who would smoke and dont tell to many people i do because they dont get it. but it relaxes me and i enjoy it. it is not physicaly addictive. it is pretty much the only drug prescription or non, that isnt. i know it's not because i have stopped with my pregnancy and before changing jobs, no physical withdraw. but i would say it is mentally addictive, just the action of smoking itself. if you do smoke it, it has the same effect on your lungs as cigarrettes, so do it at your own risk. i can complete things with efficiency and i am not slow or unmotivated , like the stereotype is percieved. i recommend it, thats just my opinion, its not for everyone.

Everyone in my family smokes or has at one time or another, everyone also drinks, I come from a long line of addicts of all substances and alcohol has been far more detrimental to my family's health and social structure than marijuana has been.

I would even say it has helped many of us get through depression, anxiety, cancer, chronic illness and other problems.

Americans think it's really bad. Someone who smokes it is a 'stoner', but here (in the UK) it's not so outrageous.
Everyone has tried it at some point...(even politicians)

It's not really any worse than alcohol, but it is illegal. And if you are trying to have a baby you shouldn't smoke it and you shouldn't be around someone else who is smoking it. And when you have kids, you shouldn't let people smoke around them either.
