Issues in the marraige. Seldom does the need to spend time "away" from the spouse truly warrant a realistic need to spend time away.
Hope they will address and communicate to resolve the issues to save their marraige before its too late.

don't assume the worse about someone as far you know her and mother could just be having a mother and daughter bond. i know alto of folks who spends most of their times with their mother. i know this one lady her and her Daugherty take a little time to gather every other month to catch up on lost time. and for the remarks shes made about her husband what woman don't it still doesn't mean she don't love him because if she didn't trust me you would know.

Every other weekend to spend with her Mom seems OK with me. Unless you tell her in advance that you want to do something that weekend you should be happy that she is going to her Moms and not out with her friends because that may be reason to start wondering WHAT SO CALLED FRIENDS???

Well, it directly led to my divorce, I'll tell you that. I think it could be issues with her mother, and it could be issues with her marriage, and more likely is a combination of the two.
Either way, it seems like something he needs to confront.

Or maybe she wants to spend as much time with her mother as she can while she can. It is not for others to judge the motivations of someone based on half a paragraph.

This would depend on the situation, is the mother sick or something? Why doesn't the husband go? I mean it would just depend. I need more details on this.
