What the $$$$ is our government doing?? You Bush supporters need to wake up from your hypnotic brainwashed trance you're under. Shame on you for supporting him with these kinds of financial numbers. What the $$$$ are you all thinking? Never say the libs spend too much money. This war is a travesty.

It's actually more disturbing then it is laughable. Trillions of dollars have already been funded to a misguided war. A war that from the beginning had false pretenses. What irks me the most is that good ole GWB rather waste money on a war that has no resolution and veto the health care plan for children. This is total and complete evidence that GWB doesn't care about this country. His ultimate goals during his presidency were to end the reign or Saddam Hussein and finish off what his father started. Thanks a lot Bush for putting America under a substantial amount of debt.

Why don't you address the fact that over $1.7 trillion per year is spent on things that are clearly not authorized by the Constitution?

Why don't you care about that, which is what is busting the budget and driving the debt?

At least war has the benefit of being Constitutional. Social Security, Welfare, Housing, Medicare, NCLB, Earmarks, etc, etc, cannot claim any constitutionality.

That's pathetic. I have to wonder if people even realize how much a TRILLION dollars is. I've been asking, who is going to pay for this fiasco and just don't get any reasonable answers. I guess our kids and grand children will be paying for Mr. bush's war.

I believe that Bush fired one of the generals for saying that it was going to cost over a billion dollars.

That is the problem with Republicans, always spending our money. I'd like to see them spend some of their own. It is easy for them to spend and spend. It is not as if they have to scrape by to pay taxes.

That's too sad to laugh about. $2.4 trillion for nothing. For that amount of money we could have assured the solvency of Social Security.

I really don't find sending our country into bankruptcy and selling it to the highest bidder (China) is funny.
