Earth to Rachel.... The 'war' will never be 'won'. There is no 'war on terror'. It's simply a US invasion to guarantee an oil supply.

Remember the original estimates from Rummy, Dick, and Dubya? 6 months and 60 billion.

When anyone suggested it wouldn't be so simple they would reply that their detractors were full of baloney.

Those 3 and Condi are always wrong but never in doubt.

If you're not a supporter, then teach your children the language of Islam...and your Grand-kids...
And tell the thousands of mourning family and friends of the 911 attack exactly how you feel. Maybe we can take up a charity for you to live in the middle east?
I dont support ALL of Bush's antics, but this is a war WE DIDNT START! Be very afraid of the possibilities of losing the war.

EDIT: Dearest Spay & Nueter all Republicans, the name says enough about you, you're an extemist weirdo. Also, we only re'cv 9% of our oil from there. Im glad you found a purpose in life, this is really your moment isnt it? And yes, there will be an end to the war. The middle east version will be "Americans dont exist" Your poor kids and Grand-kids....
Are you on that boat? And I always find people who ARENT republicans always drive the shitty cars live in the shitty houses and cry like babys about what they're "owed" So, I've never found you to be a smart bunch-just an hysterical bunch really. Now remember, be a good boy and go vote REPUBLICAN!

Ok, you aren't telling us anything we didn't already know. So whats the problem? Are you one of those people that think Bill Clinton paid off the national debt and George Bush ran up a $9 trillion national debt?

Clinton made ONE payment on the national debt in 1996. $300 billion one time. The day he left office the national debt was right at $6 trillion. Oh and the rest of the "surplus" was spent on social programs and other equally worthless crappola.

I will , (as I already pay in more than most people make in a year ), and I do not get refunds , I just wonder how all of the people who help the consumer debt go up to 2.5 trillion dollars will explain to their kids , how they contributed to an economy collapse , as half of the 2.5 trillion owed is expected to go unpaid ...half of the 2.5 trillion in consumer debt is going to hurt the future economy more than the war expense ...when that half defaults due to not being able to control expenses , or manage money , prices are going to more than triple on consumer goods to include food ....so while I get ready to pay my share , You need to hope all those suckers who have to borrow money because they have none of their own can re pay their debts......I would rather my tax money go to the war than to help out those who can not pay the bills for using credit and gettting caught up in the credit ,and mortgage traps .........

You may be right. But If someone like Hilary gets her way we would have double the burden with her health care plan. Look at what social security has done. The majority never get out what they put in. Besides I dont think killing terrorists is a waste of money.

It's a huge debt for sure. I hope we can get out of Iraq much sooner. I also hope the Dems use a little more common sense in the SCHIP reauthorization!

Not gonna hold my breath on either issue.
