Uh .. let's see ~
It was either the time I had some real liquid courage at a local bar and tried to take out a 6'0" and HUGE African American dyke. (Um, yes ... I"m serous about that.) She coulda mopped up the floor with me, but luckily I had some less drunk and very sane friends there to help me out.
~ OR ~
It was the time I got really inebriated at an Officer's Club on the base here in San Diego (my gf's hubby was a pilot) and got locked in the port-a-potty - AND COULDN'T GET OUT!!! (Sadly, I am not kidding about that either.)
Luckily, that time some very sweet and gentlemanly MP's freed me from my prison and even carried me back to one of buddies friends rooms where I slept safely and soundly until I woke up with a raging headache and wondering "what the h*ll happened".
And why is it BOTH of these "DUH" moments happened to involve alcohol??? LOL Yeah ... soon after I swore off drinking for several years!
Other than those totally humbling experiences it happens on a lesser degree more often than I'd like to admit ... including like many here a relationship nightmare or two. But hey ... they're good for "lessons learned" and a good laugh or 2 many years down the road don't 'cha think? ;-)
