I think from when I worked at the hospital I speak differently than normal. I did not even notice it til it was pointed out to me lol

I notice that people talk differently when they are on the phone. It really stands out to me when I hear my mother. Her entire demeanor and voice changes. It is funny to see and to hear.

Yeah. Those you know who speak to you in person also have a tendency to speak in a different tone with others, just as you have said with your discovery at your employment. I believe I speak normally to everyone but on a recording I sound like two octaves off a dying duck. Caint explain it.

When I worked at the doc's office I had my professional phone voice. If my friends called me at work, they would just have a ball making fun of me LOL!!! But once I got to know the patients, pharmacy techs & other doc's offices real well, then they got to know the real me :o)
